In fulfillment of our mission, here are a few of the events and outreach activities we have organized to bring high quality real estate education and information to build better communities.
The City of Chicago can and will rehab these boarded up properties. With the support and participation of the neighborhood residents, Better Informed Housing Corporation has the standing to push the city to rehab these boarded up properties.
Our educational outreach includes receivership training. Since 2017, Be Better Informed Corporation has trained nearly 400 community receivers as part of a City of Chicago funded receivership training initiative to advance and reverse the real estate and economic distress found in Chicago’s south and west side neighborhoods.
Be Better Informed Corporation assists interested developers and investors comply with the City of Chicago's Department of Housing's affordability program that expands access and choice for qualified buyers and protects their right to quality homes that are affordable, safe, and healthy.
